With all the Festivities behind us and the OLYMPIC ahead, we now turn our attention to what will be. From the beginning of January to the end of February, and then from March 12 - 21, this city will be busy as we have not seen in a long time. We will live through it and might end up having a lot of fun too.

Stay tuned to your local Radio or TV as street closures in the Downtown area have begun. Parking meter rates have also gone up as has the time 10:00pm nightly.

"No Parking signs (February 4 - March 1) have sprung up everywhere. Granville, Oak, Marine Dr., Cambie, 49th - to name a few.

   Inbetween all of these festivities, we must not forget our neighbours who will be celebrating the Chinese New Year - "The year of the Tiger" on February 14.
